CASA/GAL of Miami County: Advocating for Every Child

CASA/GAL of Miami County is the voice for children who have experienced abuse or neglect by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, the court appoints a trained CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations in the child’s best interest. Created in 1994, CASA/GAL of Miami County supports over 50 volunteers who advocate for more than 200 children each year.

This event is funded by a Miami County Opioid Settlement Grant.
